Hello, I’m Carol Waller – a visual artist, working in acrylic and watercolor, and the creative eye behind the lens at Kansas City Framed. A life-long resident of Kansas City, I create to connect, and invite viewers to explore the beautiful town I call home. From scenic parks to iconic landmarks, I’ve always been drawn to the charm of our vibrant and historic city. There’s something exciting about watching the seasons change in Kansas City, and knowing that each one offers a rich palette of colors all its own.
As a student of the Kansas City Art Institute, I have spent years refining my skills through private study and hands-on experience. My goal is to create art that will bring joy and inspiration to those who view it. My works are featured in local magazines, on Kansas City event calendars, and displayed in the corridors of Saint Luke’s Hospital East. I’m a juried member of Summit Art, and I am honored to have been a part of the Kansas City Parade of Hearts project in 2022.
While Kansas City will always be home, and my main source of inspiration, the colors and energy of the Caribbean sneak into my work now and then, adding a splash of sunshine and sea to the mix. For me, it’s all about celebrating places that stir the heart.
